On the day you leave, bring all trash to the garbage can in the garage. Garbage pickup is Monday morning, and you’re welcome to roll the black bin to the curb Sunday night. Recycling is picked up early, at 7am, every other Thursday. Because we pay for the service, please sort it. Rinse everything, put it in the bagged blue bins in the garage, and keep glass in its own separate bag. Everything else can be mixed. Extra black bags are in the garage cupboards, and please take plastic and glass out of the garbage.

Before you go, place all towels in a pile on the laundry room floor and start a load of sheets in each washing machine. Run the dishwasher, put clean dishes, cups, and utensils back in their cabinets and drawers, and throw away any uneaten perishable food. Close all windows, shut all blinds, and turn off the lights, stereo, and TVs. In winter, set the thermostats to 59°F.
